Anthony "Butch" Steele

Mr. Anthony "Butch" Steele, 79, of Indianapolis, Indiana, transitioned from labor to reward at 1:53pm on May 3, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave Steele and Leola Curtis Brooks; siblings: Lee William Steele, Ruby M. Steele Freeman, Sarah Wells Lewis and son, Bryant Steele.

Butch, also known as "Playa" leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life, children: Maurice Johnson, Anthony Jarrell Steele, Angela Steele, Roslind Steele Cook and Antoinette Love (Roderick); sisters, Carlene A. Craig and Teresa Green; 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends.

His visitation is Saturday, May 11, 2019, 10am - 12pm with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 11pm at Greater Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 519 E. 23rd Street, Indianapolis, Indiana.
