Charles Edwin Greer, Jr.

Charles Edwin "Tex" Greer, Jr. was born September 21, 1943 to the late Charles Edwin Greer, Sr. and Martha Greer in Kokomo, IN. He graduated from Kokomo High School in 1961. He was a self-employed Master Mechanic and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was an avid fisherman, Chicago Cubs fan, enjoyed Westerns and spending time with family. He passed away June 29, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents and his "baby sister" Virginia "Jenne" Hayes of Richmond, VA. He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Tanya Renee Greer-Powers of St. Louis, MO; four sons, Keith Donell Greer of Anderson IN, Craig A. Nash (Twyla) of Jacksonville, FL; Charles Edwin "Trae" Greer, III of Kokomo, IN and Eric Dante' Smith (Roslyn) of Charleston, S.C. two sisters, Sandra Marie Williams of Richmond, VA and Charlene R. White (Bill) of Kokomo, IN and a host of grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and other family and friends. Memorial Service 12 p.m. Tuesday at Wayman Chapel A.M.E.
