Debra Caprice Watters, 57, passed away April 26. A native of Kokomo, she was the daughter of Harry and Josephine (Brown) Watters. She received her early education in Kokomo, graduating from Haworth High School. She was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church. She continued her education, graduating from Wright Beauty College, and becoming a licensed beautician. She was a candy striper at St. Joseph Hospital. A member of the Naptown Riders, she was known as "Cutie Pie." She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Takia Caprice (Jason) Watters, of Kokomo; brothers, William (Frankie) Watters, of Las Vegas, Harold "TT" (Jackie) Watters, of Indianapolis, Robert Lionel Watters, of Las Vegas, and Oliver Perry "Billy" (Jackie) Bradley, of Birmingham, Alabama; sisters, Ronda Gadson, of Kokomo, and Jennifer (Scotty) Barbary, of Kokomo; two grandchildren, Booklyn and Breeona Watters; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Josephine Caprice Watters, and her brother, Norville "Squeebie" Brown. Services will be 6 p.m. Friday at The Reformation Faith Ministries, with calling from 4 p.m. until time of service.
