Mr. DeJure D.D. Taylor was born on August 23rd, 1998 to Domonique A. Taylor and Isaih Howell, Jr. in Gary, Indiana.
In his youth, DeJure took part in the play Upon This Rock, He was an avid football player and played at North Central High School. He would leave school and go to work at the Taco Bell down the street from the school. He also worked at various other restaurants and the Amazon warehouse. He was admired for staying busy and being such a good working. He enjoyed being around his family and when he walked in the door, his smile would just light up the room. DeJure was always being a jokester and life of the party.
DeJure leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Domonique A. Taylor (Indianapolis); father Isaih Howell (Gary, IN); brother Isaih Howell III (Gary, IN); sisters DesJanique Martin (Indianapolis, IN), DaLaysha Richards (Indianapolis, IN), and Diana Howell (Indianapolis); maternal grandparents Annette Young and Elvin Taylor; maternal great grandparents Willa Mae Young and ?; paternal grandparents Alicia Berry-Howell and Isaih Howell, Sr.; paternal great grandmother Geneva Berry; niece Mylanique McVea; 4 aunts, 3 uncles, and a host of cousins, and friends.
Special note: Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we will implement advisory visitation and attendance processes to assist with protecting everyone in attendance who wishes to pay their respects for Mr. Dejure Taylor and his family.
Mr. Taylor’s service will be Saturday, April 18th at 4:00pm with calling from 3:00pm until time of services at Eastside Baptist Church, 2845 Baltimore Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46218. Floral tributes may be delivered to the church beginning one hour prior to time of calling.
