Essie Victoria Williams, 86 years young of Indianapolis passed away on the morning of May 21, 2020.   She was a member of Cathedral of Praise Church of God in Christ.  An entrepreneur having owned and operated Vickie's Restaurant, she was also a self employed hair stylist.  She had a passion for renovating homes, and loved to travel. She'll be remembered for her sense of humor she shared with family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Larry D. Williams; daughter G. Renee' Williamson; brother Willie T. Riley (Martha); sisters Virginia L. Riley, Eloise L. Howse (David), Ruthie Riley, Peggy Duffin (William); 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 12:00 noon with calling from 10:00 am until time of services at Jerusalem Temple Apostolic Church, 2125 East 54th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46205.  Floral tributes may be delivered to the church beginning one hour prior to time of calling.  She will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery.
