Georgia Belle Peoples

Mrs. Georgia Belle Peoples, 62, of Kokomo, passed away on August 30, 2018 at 6:29pm at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on March 6, 1956- the daughter of George W. and Octavia E. Elliott (Fort). Georgia was a member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, where she was very active throughout her life. Her caring spirit extended into the community ensuring those in need where never left behind. She worked at CASA, advocating for the youth in the city. Georgia was a member of the Kokomo Banquet and an ordained minister. She enjoyed playing Bingo, her family, but first and foremost was her love and commitment to her Lord and Savior.She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Terryn “Scookie” Elliott (Wendi) and Hollis “Shakie” Reeves (Annette); siblings, Patricia A. Howard (William), Indianapolis, Frances Elliott, Kokomo, Debbie L. Triplett (Luther), Lawrenceburg, Karen E. Elliott, Kokomo, Allen W. Elliott, Kokomo, Sarah L. Elliott, Kokomo; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends. Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Catherine D. Wilson and Linda M. Elliott, and son DesJuan "Max" Elliott. The visitation is Saturday, Sept 8, 2018, 10am – 11am, with the Memorial Service immediately following at 11am at Mt.
