Glen D. Wilson

Glen David Wilson, 68, of Cincinnati, formerly of Kokomo, Indiana, transitioned from labor to reward on February 28, 2019.

Glen David Wilson was the son of Rev Jesse David Wilson and Berdia Lee Snow. He was United in marriage on December 17, 1971 in Clarkton Missouri to Shirley Byrd Wilson, who preceded him in death. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and five sisters: Larry J "Preacher" Wilson, Rev Godfrey Wilson, Oscar Wilson, Isabel Starker, Anah Moore, Esther Goodman, Rosemary Wilson, and Helen Wilson and one son, Mark Jones. Glen was a United States Army Veteran.

He is survived by 3 sons and 2 daughters: Kenneth Jones(Annie) of Columbia South Carolina, David Wilson Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio, Undray Wilson of Kokomo, Indiana, Cherie Wilson and Felicia Wilson of Cincinnati, Ohio; five sisters and two brothers: Gladys Walker of Chicago, Illinois, Rachel Wilson of Atlanta, Georgia, Doris Tudor of Kokomo, Patricia Allen (Lacey) of Kansas City, Missouri, Marie Johnson (Jerry) of Long Beach, California, Grace Reed (Tony) of Kokomo, Ronnie Ray Wilson (Denise) of Altadena, California, and Terry Keith Wilson (Nida) of Puyallup, Washington and by 6 grandsons, 9 granddaughters, 14 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews.

The visitation is Saturday, March 9, 2019, 9am – 11am with the service at 11am at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, 1599 E. Sycamore Street, Kokomo, Indiana. Rev. L. E. Anderson, Jr. is the Pastor and Rev. Lionel McNeil will be the Eulogist. The interment will immediately follow in Crown Point Cemetery.
