Gwendolyn Jean Fears, 61 of Indianapolis, Indiana was called from labor to reward on the morning of July 16, 2019. Born in Logansport, Indiana she was a member of the Grace Apostolic Church of Indianapolis, as well as the Cancer Support Center of Central Indiana. Filled with the Holy Ghost, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend to many who knew and loved her. Those left to celebrate her life, and cherish her memory include her mother, Audrey Jean Beard, of Kokomo, Indiana; loving husband, Marvin Eugene Fears; son Detrick Nathaniel Fears, both of Indianapolis; daughters, Natisha Audrenna Nora (Juwan) of Columbus, Ohio, and Marquita Ivory Fears of Indianapolis; sisters: Tanya Scruggs, Kokomo, Indiana, Yolanda Warren (Ray), Angela Green, (Dwayne), and Kimberly Beard, all of Indianapolis; two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 1:00 pm with calling from 11:00 am until time of services at the Grace Apostolic Church, 649 E. 22nd Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46202 with Pastor, Suffragan Bishop Kevin Harrison as Officiant and Eulogist. Floral tributes may be delivered to the church beginning one hour prior to time of calling. Burial will take place Monday, July 29, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Kokomo Memorial Park in Kokomo, Indiana.
