Helen R. Smith

Mrs. Helen R. Smith, 67, of Indianapolis, Indiana, transitioned from labor to reward on January 9, 2019. 

She was previously employed with the United States Postal Service, Sears and Jenn Air.

Helen leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, loving husband, Ail Lee Smith, Sr.; children: Demanda L. Smith, Demetria A. James (Sterling), Ail Lee Smith, Jr. (Twannay) and Ailex L. Smith; siblings: Eugene M. Rhodes (Willie), Vechel L. Rhodes, Frank O. Rhodes, Yvonne Collins and Sylvia Young (James); 17 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends. 

The visitation is Saturday, January 19, 2019, 9am - 11am with the Homegoing Celebration at 11am at Sanders Temple C.O.G.I.C. The interment will immediately follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.

*All floral and memorial tributes should be delivered to the church on Saturday after 8am.
