Superintendent James Z.T. Harris, 92, of Indianapolis, transitioned from labor to reward on June 19, 2018.
He is the Pastor Emeritus of Prince of Peace C.O.G.I.C. and a United States Navy Veteran.
Superintendent Harris was preceded in death by his parents, Ezekiel Harris, Sr. and Alice McCoy Cooksey; son, Ronald D. Harris; siblings: Maceo Harris and Clay Thomas.
Left to cherish his memory, children: Judy Harris - Van Dyke (Herman), Daniel C. Harris (Evelyn), Henry Darnell Harris, Donald L. Harris (Patrice), Christopher L. Wellington Harris and Curtis Wellington (Shalone); siblings: Ezekiel "Zeke" Harris, Jr. (Mary Ann) and Harold Harris (Betty); 11 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
