Mr. James Otis Westbrook, 80, of Indianapolis, transitioned from labor to reward on the afternoon of August 21, 2018.
James was born January 7, 1938 to Mike Westbrook and Charlie Mae Pernell in Greenwood, Mississippi.
He was a member of New Zion Tabernacle. James was a Mechanic at Motor Fleet Services for over 26 years.
James leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife of 53 years, Alberta Westbrook; children: Terence McAfee (Sherrie), James C. Westbrook, Terri L. Spells, Velinda Knox and Angela T. Moorman; sister, Lula Mae Russ; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
The visitation is Monday, August 27, 2018, 10am - 12pm, with the service at 12pm at New Zion Tabernacle Church, 2602 N. Lasalle Street. Burial will immediately follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Floral deliveries should be made to the Church.
