*watch live now* Mr. Jewell Majors Jr., 52, passed away at 10:43 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Community Hospital North, Indianapolis. He was born in Kokomo April 9, 1968, to Shirley Grant Majors, who survives, and the late Jewell Majors Sr. Jewell was employed at Chrysler Corp., Kokomo, for over 27 years and was a member of United Auto Workers Local 685. He attended Mount Pisgah MBC. He coached AFSCME Little League baseball. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed the Dallas Cowboys, Indiana Hoosiers basketball and Miami Hurricanes football. He loved music, in particular Hip-Hop and Rap. Jewell leaves to his loving memories, wife Tabitha; sons, Quinton M. Douglas, of Kokomo, Precious Jewell Majors (NIA), of Indianapolis, and Curtis W. Ulmer, of Kokomo; daughters, Briana Tanae Majors, of Bunker Hill, and Layla C. Majors, of Kokomo; brothers, Patrick (Paula) Majors, of San Bernadino, California, Jeremy Majors, of Kokomo, Matthew S. (Denise) Harris-Majors and Darren T. Harris, both of Phoenix, Arizona; sisters, Lanella Morse, of Indianapolis, and Nikita Majors, of Kokomo. He also leaves to cherish his memories six grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Services are 11 a.m. Friday, July 3, with calling from 9 a.m. until service time at Bluitt and Son Funeral Home, 511 E. Monroe St., Kokomo. Dr. Lonnie E. Anderson Jr. is officiant and eulogist.
