Lonnie James "Bugs" Brown, 75, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019. Lonnie was born to Irene Brown Davis and Willard Cheeks on February 3, 1944, in Indianapolis, IN.He received his education in the Kokomo School System. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1962. He was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church of Kokomo.He enjoyed dancing, body building and doing hair processes and finger waves, dressing in fine clothes, skating and laid-back Cadillacs.He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Quincy Bowman of California, Quatico "Tico" Brown (Earlisha) of Ft.Wayne, IN, Antonio Brown of Atlanta, GA, Stephen Roberson (Hollie) of Crown Point, IN and Corey Roberson; daughters, Robin R. Clark, Armitrus (Meachie) Cummings (Wallace), Eina D. Malone all of Kokomo and Adrian Murphy (Donald) of Carmel, IN. Stepdaughters, Tawnya Andrews and Anmonique Alexander (Aaron) both of Kokomo. He also leaves 23 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, uncles, cousins and a host of friends and his caregiver Betty Hill and adopted grand-daughter Livie Liggin.He was preceded in death by his mother Irene Brown Davis and father Willard Cheeks. Children Lonnie James "Tuba" Bowman and Desiree Brown.Services 11 a.m. Friday at Second Missionary Baptist Church with calling from 9 a.m. until service time. Rev. Dr. William J.
