Maurice Clifton,Jr.

Maurice Clifton Jr., of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away at 8:06 a.m. Nov. 18, 2019, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Maurice was born on Aug. 27, 1988, in Chicago, Indiana, to Maurice Clifton Sr. and mother Lisa Hodum.

Maurice was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church. Maurice graduated Kokomo High School and attended Sullivan University in Louisville, Kentucky. He was employed by American Smokehouse of Jeffersonville, and previously at Super Chef of Louisville, and then awarded a position with Omni Hotel, downtown Louisville. He was a very passionate chef and an avid fisherman.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, at Second Missionary Baptist Church and service will be at noon. Pastor Dr. William J. Smith Jr. is officiant and Pastor Robert A. Lee is eulogist. Floral tributes may be delivered to the church beginning one hour prior to time of service.  Burial will be at Crown Point Cemetery.
