It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paulette Sue Browning, a beloved resident of Kokomo. She departed this world on March 30, 2024, at the venerable age of 77 years. Paulette now rests in peace, rejoining her parents, Samuel R. Browning, Sr. and Elreana Gray Browning, her sister Eva Browning-Bynum, and niece Rochelle Browning in eternal serenity.
Those who were touched by Paulette's kind essence will forever hold dear the memory of her gentle spirit. She is survived by her loving sister Maxine Browning-Link, devoted brother Samuel R. Browning Jr. (Brenda), caring aunt Flora V. Williams (Melvin), along with 4 nieces, 1 nephew, 4 great-nephews, 7 great-nieces, and 1 great-great-nephew. Additionally, a multitude of extended relatives and friends share in the remembrance of her life.
A celebration of Paulette's life will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the sacred Wayman Chapel AME Church located at 920 N. Apperson Way. Prior to the service, visitation will be held at the church starting from 10 a.m. until the commencement of the ceremony. The esteemed Pastor William Gary will preside as Eulogist during this commemorative occasion. Following the service, interment will be conducted at Crown Point Cemetery where Paulette will find eternal rest.
